WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE.....
Many years ago I started taking photographs of family members and family parties. I shot in film and did my own developing. I created a darkroom in my basement and spent many nights mixing developers, toners, fixers and trying to get the right temperatures and the correct amount of time to create that perfect print.
When I think back I realize that I must have truly loved taking photos and developing because it certainly was alot of work! After my session was complete I still had to clean up and wash all the trays and work aids thoroughly. I didn't want to leave any residue of chemical that might harm my next workflow session.
At that time I only worked in Black and White. By the time I decided to get involved with color printing "cibachrome" was making its debut but it never worked for me. I didn't like the process or the end results. The color chemicals were toxic and my darkroom was not vented properly so that was the end of my traditional darkroom experience.
A few years later we moved to a larger home and I decided to go digital. My first digital camera was a Fugi, 1 megapixel....From the moment that I downloaded and printed out my first photo I knew I was hooked! Instant gratification....totally amazing! Little did I realize how truly awesome digital photography is....and so began my new passion.
